i would not feel comfortable building a d17 for boost unless you sleeve and bore...or shorten up the stroke. its not exactly a good bore/stroke ratio for boost.

Its not a good motor to screw with heavily to begin with.
well its not bad if you do everything at once...and i mean like EVERYTHING...headwork, bottom end, block work, figure out the damn solid-state electrical system, and get the block blueprinted and everything...but once you're there youre at the price of a k20. so yeah...i guess in a practical sense its not a good motor ot screw with .
