why do you need to know the size nut? dont you have a basic tool set?

you just need to grease your front latch. pull the bumper cover off or just forwards, mark the hood latch bolts and then remove them and with some typical grease smear it all over the moving parts and bolt it back up. my 96 was the same way when i got it. didnt want to open or close well. smothered that sucker in grease and still works great now.

I don't have a deep socket set, i need to get one, or just buy the size i need. i need to remove them nuts to install engine damper.

off topic but the rear lower strut bar, the nut is facing the engine bay not back. so i need to remove that bolt and face it the other way? doesn't the strut go on the out side not inside? i don't think im supposed to take that long bolt out...i take it im going to need a jack, because if i pull that bolt out my lower control arm will crash down if i use my ramp.. than im going to need a friend to align the hole to put the bolt back in correct?


I think it doesn't pop up because i just installed hood spacers.
