The 5900 is the old model. New one is 5901 or 5902. That's all I really have experience with. The LCD transmitter is really not that great. I probably would go with an autopage if I had someone install it.

The range though. It's just unreal. Lol. Remember, 1500 feet unobstructed view. Much shorter if in a building.

And the transmitter runs on AAA batteries. :/

AAA batteries... damn. I think I will try and hold out for something re-chargeable. It wouldnt be a deal breaker though. Sounds like I should look into a farther range, just to be on the safer side.

Bought a 98 (obd2a) CRV Manual ECU. I have been told that the b20 swap will run much better with that ECU. $50, might as well go for it.

Car is being dropped off tonight for re-inspection tomorrow. I never noticed how loud those bad wheel bearings were. Car was riding smooth and quiet on the way to work this morning. Only thing I didn't like was the sloppy shifter, just needs new bushings and I will be set on that. No reason for me to get a short shifter, so I am sticking with OEM.

Scott, I might have said it before, but the look on peoples faces when they see me at a red light just pull it off and play with it, then putting it back on when the light turns green is priceless. It is a nice convo piece since many people ask me why it is out of the car in the first place. haha

Another hoop to jump over for inspection. The wheel doesnt have play anymore, but is getting "hung up" according to the shop dood. It took some effort and force to pull the caliper away from the rotor when doing the hub job last weekend, I am assuming it is seized/stuck. Bought a replacement from autozone today. We will see how that works out I guess.

He is also failing me for the horn not working from the new set-up. The new turn signal cam holds the hub a little farther away than before, preventing contact being made from the horn thingy I made. Hard to explain, but should be an easy fix. Looks like I have a busy weekend again

I've got the same horn riggings for mine.

And I will be carrying my steering wheel in to school with me. I go to an engineering school, so I'm sure you can guess the type of people the masses are. They'll be surprised I even drive myself there.

New brake caliper installed sat, started leaking by the e brake area, took it back to AZ and got another. That was installed along with new rear pads today. Tightened the e brake cable along with bleeding all 4 corners of the car today, too.

Horn fixed on sat, new front speakers installed today.

I overheard at least two people say "steering wheel?", and saw countless people just staring. LOL

^^Pretty much.

Pulled the QR/hub off the car while at work (takes like 10 min) and found the problem. The wire which connects the horn button to the OEM horn wire broke off. It is rigged up to work for right now at least. Let's hope it holds out. I will pull it all off again sometime this week to perform a more rigid fix.

I borrowed my buddy's 19mm and breaker bar, had the allen wrench in the car already, and ended up using a pen and box cutter to do the rest! Hells yea
