^^Thanks! Just a quick picture on what I worked on last night. Pulled all the old crappy electrical tape off and cleaned everything up with simple green. More labeling will happen tonight.

Once it is all done, the stupid AT harness is getting yanked out. Damn thing looks like total **** in my engine bay.

Also, there should be a little screw in the distributor for the rotor, right? I picked up a dizzy that needs a new cap and I was planning on replacing the rotor at the same time. However, it will not pull off easily and there is no screw holding it in. Will I damage anything else if I decide to crack/break the old rotor off?

I've broken many a rotor. They slide on to a solid metal shaft. Good luck breaking that. I've tried out of frustration lol. Lots of wd might help.

I mean good luck breaking the shaft. :P

Well, I can definitely break it easily, or cut it with a dremel to crack it easier. Just didn't know if that was a "no-no" or not. I have taken apart distributors before, just never ran into any problems like that in the past. Sounds like I am going to break out the dremel tonight!

Found someone near me selling a JDM 4-1 header for cheap. Found another guy literally around the corner from me selling an OEM sway bar, and OEM LCAs. Hopefully planning on picking it all up tonight.

EDIT - Sway bar guy says he has a cat converter, too. hmmm. The car might make leaps and bounds towards becoming street legal this weekend.

Picked up the LCAs on Thursday and I might pass on the ITR header if I cant figure out if it is compatible with the OEM LS cat converter.

Also picked up a set of OEM struts with H&R springs installed. The suspension should be fixed tomorrow! Tires have been ordered, too. But they are nothing special

Got a decent amount of work done today. Suspension was replaced, sway bar installed, OEM battery tray installed, new distributor/cap/rotor installed, and the current engine harness was pulled out.

Junk suspension - something like "fighter" is written on them. Ugh....terrible

Planning on ordering new o2 sensors soon. A buddy of mine is sending me an OBD2 cat since the one on the car is semi-hollowed out. Should be getting that next week. The new harness I picked up needs to be wrapped in electrical tape and should be installed next weekend. Looking for an OEM sized battery, and an OEM steering wheel now

Thanks for the replies guys! I knew when I saw "H&R" on the springs when buying them, it was gonna be fine. Thankfully, those cheap springs and the blown struts are gone forever.

Does anyone know if ITR front shocks are bigger/wider than standard LS struts? The A-arm I have simply slips out of the strut when the car is raised up. Doesn't fall out of the arm, but it is defintiely loose and I tightened the **** out of the 14mm bolt that holds the colllar around the lower portion of the strut. :/

Does anyone know where this spring might go? It randomly fell out when pulling the at pedal. Looks like it goes on the pedal itself actually.

Also, pulled out the headunit to see what i will be working with when the DD unit goes in. I guess this guy just ran out of electrical tape and refused to go and buy more?

SMH

Just got a new battery, too! That will go in and the teg will be fired up for the first time in about 2-3 weeks! All the work I have put in will be tested today. Semi nervous at the moment. Oh, and I believe I will definitely need a new VSS as neither the "old" AT harness or the "new" MT harness "clicks" into place.
