I do not have snap rings after looking at your pictures for clarification.

After thinking about it your using stock rods right? You probably will just have the wrist pins pressed into the rods, so you prolly wont even need snap rings =P

Shotpeened stock rods. I am being told by a buddy of mine that the rods go in the freezer/pistons in the oven (or vice versa; can't remember) in order to put them together easily.

Hmmm never heard of doing that, i suppose it could work though seeing as how one is shrinking and the other expanding.

Installed the poly. exhaust bushings, new exh. gaskets, and replacement Blox LCA bushings yesterday. Most all of the exhaust bolts were rusty and basically seized up (thank the lord for impact guns ) All new bolts were tossed in as well as anti-seize covering all of them this time. Bushings took away that nasty *clunking* noise I was hearing in the back when going over hard enough bumps. Lets see how long these ones last...

Today, the interior of the car will be cleaned, and I might just go ahead and re-wire the passenger side side marker back in.

2 wheels are sanded down 100% so far, too. I am planning on throwing them up on CL once they are painted and seeing if someone is interested in trading for a set of LS Meshies/Blades (plus a little cash on my end if needed). If not, I will keep them and rock out.

LOL... Horn fell off and was hanging in there.

Current pic of the wheels. They need one or two more coats of paint and they should be good. If anything, I will be buying hub centric spacers by the end of the week if no one on CL wants to do some sort of trade. Looking to get some LS webs if anything (w/o tires of course).

Other than that, nothing has happened with the car. Money has getting a little tight recently and I have been working on my bro's car and this lovely 03 Cavalier that seems to just want to **** oil everywhere as soon as you give it gas. Yay

Note... I will edit with pics tonight.

Odd looking wheels haha. I bet they'd look pretty sick fully polished.
