Cvcrcr's project/fix-up thread (version 1.1)
^^ I think I have it basically where I need it. Took some modifying and a bit of creativity, but it should be good for right now.... I think. If I am not lazy when I get home, I will get a picture of it. I need to not be lazy since I have a few things I need to take pics of in order to sell.
EDIT - AAA update. They will not tow a vehicle which is not registered (currently the car is not registered since I sent my plates back to the DMV when I dropped insurance to pick up the Hatch) I have to pay $65 for registration, and then buy the AAA package for like $110.

meh, it is an insurance thing for down the road I figured as well. If I wait for my step dad to tow it with his AAA, we would run into the same thing. Also, I plan on driving it back from the shop (hopefully). So the car must be registered to do that as well.

Thanks for the complements guys. It should be done sooner or later and I cannot wait. I don't believe I spent the entire summer without a vehicle. I am lucky to have an awesome g/f who lets me drive her car when needed.
Shandles, yes, I cut the VC. It is kind of sloppy, but I was pressed for time that day since I needed to get a lot done. I plan on removing the VC again later down the road and making that cut a little straighter looking with my angle grinder in addition to repainting the VC. I already have the wrinkle red paint can in my room.
The plastic timing cover is slightly resting on the strut tower, but I am not worried about that.
Not sure if I posted about this, but the shop confirmed that they can mount the shifter for me and run the cables etc.
At this time, all I have to do is make a quick EGR block off plate (I have some aluminum sheet metal I will cut to shape), fill the motor up with oil, and remove the center console plastics. I am going to let the guys at the shop fill the transmission and deal with most of the vacuum lines since I am sure they will have to remove the intake manifold to complete the wiring.
EDIT - AAA has been purchased as of this morning.

I've read about other people having that strut tower problem before. I think the guy smashed a dent in the tower sheet metal. No big deal, as long as it doesn't mess up your alignment, lol.
I like what you did better (cutting the vc, but leaving the plastic lower cover). Itll look good while still covering your timing belt.
I'd kinda like to go H2B. I'm not looking forward to the fitment issues I'm gonna have, but eh... itll be worth it to have a 13sec all motor car with factory honda parts.
