Crap. I know I don't have LSD. I think I have the M2a4. Still haven't gotten the codes down straight. haha

On the good side, someone bought the H22 harness I pulled from the car. I will be buying some little things tomorrow!

Does any one have any information or knows of any experiences of a S2000 clutch master cylinder in a Civic? I have been looking into it recently, and it will clean up the bay by moving that reservoir out of the way. Looks to be $147 shipped (S2K CMC, adaptor, gasket). Just wondering if anyone has actually seen it done in person yet and if they have heard of any problems regarding the swap. I have like $150 in my PayPal and it is burning a hole in my ... ummm pocket?. Yea, I guess that works for what I am saying.

Works fine as long as you have the adapter. I considered getting it but I'm just going to move my clutch master reservoir down and over a little bit so it's less eye grabbing.

Yea, I am really considering it nowadays since my CMC is starting to squeak like crazy, and there is a used OEM s2k CMC on eBay for like $30 shipped. The adaptor and gasket would be an extra $45 or so. hmmmmmmmm....

I also plan on picking up a replacement distributor from rywire (just in case something happens to the one I have - I believe these internal coil units are not readily available) along with a braided clutch line, and a ground wire kit (just to say I have the complete rywire wiring set-up in the engine bay). Plus, the ground wires I have now look like trash and have green (yuck) shrink tubing on the ends. :/

**** grounds. I ran like 2-3 last year, tuck them and run minimal. Just enough so that it starts lol, mine barely cranked until I added a 3rd. And I doubt it's yor clutch master squeaking, it's extremely common on ek's for the squeak. Mine was squeaking at the clutch fork, put some Honda high temp urea grease on it when I put the engine back in last year and it was silent. The noise is also possibly at the pedal too.

Any reason why the pedal after sitting for 6+ hours will not squeak at all for the first 10-15 pumps and feel really smooth, then it will start squeaking? Come to think of it, I replaced the CMC with a replacement (brand new) directly from Honda about 2 years ago. hmmm.

The pedal may need to be adjusted as the piston could possibly be set too far in and I am mistaking the squeak for too much pressure. The pedal is definitely a little harder to push in once the "squeak" comes around, too. Maybe too pressure much is building up, which would explain why I blew out a slave cylinder? but I really can't be 100% sure of the condition that the slave was in when the motor was swapped in. Another reason why I am thinking of swapping the CMC is so that I can say that both the CMC and the slave were replaced around the same time. If I were to justify buying an s2k CMC for that reason, I would buy brand new from Honda instead of something used off of eBay.

Still not 100% sure on the ground wires, and I would definitely want to "delete" the one coming off the VC to the rad support just to clean things up a bit. I'll keep thinking about it

Bought a replacement H22a (internal coil) distributor and a stainless steel braided "tucked" clutch line from Rywire today!

Distributor is purely for back up only. I would rather spend the $200 now on it rather than later when I am broke. I always like to have known working replacements of these types of things (including starters, alternators, sensors, etc) so down time is limited if anything goes wrong.

Clutch line is obviously to rid myself of the ugly stock hard line and get that engine bay one step cleaner! Any one interested in my stock clutch line for any reason? (AT to MT people?!?!)

Found out that the S2000 CMC uses the same fitting as the Civic CMC, so I will be fine to switch to a S2000 unit in the future if I would like. I might just go with Scotts idea of moving the reservoir down and out of sight. Only time and money will tell.

Unfortunately not.

I am just pushing forward until I lose interest. Honestly, now that I am trying to save and buy a place to live, the interest is starting to fade. I need to get this axle problem dealt with, clean up the bay, and then I am pretty much done. The only things I want other than what I listed above, would be a bigger intake and exhaust set-up (3"). After that, I will re-tune, throw it on the dyno, and call it a day.

If I can ever score a hook up with a body shop, I would like to get the body damage fixed and get the car repainted silver.
