well they will always match your tint but id still like to see them with painted eyelids.

im actually going to be buying some black headlights tomorrow morning for 50bucks.... i dont like how mine baked apart turned out! ill be painting some eye lids on them when i paint the car also....

if your not sure about the eye lids looks lasting then get some vinyl and put that on the headlights and paint the vinyl to match just to check out the looks... if you dont like it just peel off the vinyl and its like its never been there! or if you like it either keep it till it flakes off or just paint them.

I think they look great.

Only thing I would say to do is make the foglight covers (or shrouds, idk) the same color, to give the lights on the front end some more consistency (in appearance)

Not sure if this would look good BUT...........try painting them a charcoal gray or any other dark shade of gray. Could look like crap or you might really like it, not sure lol.

I've never seen it done and i think it could go really well with the gold

I have to reseal the drivers side one, but they're really starting to grow on me as they are. I think I'll let them stay like this for now and move on to painting lips and side skirts.

In other news, my damn fog lights stopped working again. The relay is engaging fine. I dunno why the lights wont work right. Last time, it was the ground. I cleaned the ground and they worked again. This time, dunno. Could be anything.

(Told you I worked on a budget.)
the paper lettering is a crafty idea, looks cool. I like the tail lights too, big improvement from stock. sucks about the clear coat gash though. i bet if you used some high grit wet sand paper and ordered some color matched paint/clearcoat, you could do it yourself for much less. I just painted my spoiler, and got color matched paint from http://www.automotivetouchup.com/spray_paint.asp

The match was perfect, and cheapest i could find online. shipping is slow though. mine was yr525m-4, there is another yr525m with diff number at end, not sure what yours is.

Looks pretty sweet so far, good luck, I know how it is on a college budget.
