have you tried the top door pull in?

or is it leaking in while driving in the rain?
wheres it leaking in.
if its not from the top door frame then get some camper shell foam then thin 1/4inch wide stuff and put it around the door frame or on the weather seal depending how you want it to look.

Guys, I am about to break something. I CANT GET THE DASH OUT AND I AM BEYOND PISSED. I'm running out of daylight and don't wanna be stranded at my parents house because the car is in pieces. I've got wires pulled everywhere, steering column dropped, all dash bolts out, and I can't get the thing to budge. It wont move. I need ANY wisdom you might have to offer.

http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=605432

that has a pretty good picture of all the bolts you need to remove.
those 2 bolts in the center floor are HUGE PITAS TO REMOVE!!!!!!
and dont forget to unbolt the fuse box also I THINK that holds to the dash at least i think.

I have all of those bolts out. The two in the center bottom were the EASIEST to take out, actually. Any more suggestions?

well if you have those bolts all out it should come right out. i had no problems with my 96 dash besides those 2 center bolts. i say start wiggling hard and find out at least which side is sticking. it might just be rusted stuck....

It's out.

There was rust, but I also missed the antenna cable. Daylight is dying so I'm gonna have to get creative on the lighting. The thing is sprayed black and drying. My sister is gonna help me get the dash back in later. I hope to god I can get everything back together and just get home.

I am so sick of this interior project. Next time, I'll just buy whatever I need.

Crappy phone pics ftl. Installed pics later, once its buffed. And, I have spare screws and nuts. Dunno where they came from or where they go. Yay spare parts.

I thought it would be easier than that but jeebus that was a pain in the ***. I'll never pull my dash again EVER.

LOL extra bolts.... surprisingly i didnt have any when i put my dash back in... tho after you pull the dash out once its easy to do it a second time... removing the dash on the junk yard civic was a huge PITA mainly because the passenger door was smashed in making it really hard to get to the bolts and such. but i was pulling the whole heat/ac unit.

Found out what the extra nuts went to... the passenger AIRBAG lol. The interior is coming back together. Got 1 seatbelt done so far, 3 out of 4 dash vents in (one needed to be touched up), dash sides, upper center console, and carpet. The carpet is still purple in the sun. -_-

I've gotta fix my fog light wiring because it broke out of the clip when I was moving the fuse box around. Other than that... slow progress. I bought a reflective windshield cover thing to keep the interior cooler and to hide the fact that I am working on the car. lol.

It's 3:30. With any luck the car will be mostly back together (minus seats) by the end of the day. That means pics for you guys to look at.

[4:20 edit. Nice timing.]

Meh. I'll just update this so I don't post ***** step by step.

The dash is complete. All I need to do is fix the fog light wire. The lower covers and kick panels for the sides are on in the front. I'm in the process of doing the seat belt swap, then the back ones can go on. Once that's done, the center console and arm rest can be replaced. Passenger seat will go in soon. Back seat side bolsters and rear deck will go in too. The actual seat will wait until I fabricate a method of getting the seat back to latch like stock. It's coming together. Pics soon.

[5:10 edit]

Project stalled.

The Integra rear seatbelts do not fit. They're like... inverted from what I need. There's no way to make them work because they have to sit at a certain angle to be able to come out. Oh well.

And the back still looks like crap. Great.

Im thinking about just leaving it as is until next week. By then I'll have more parts in, maybe some black seatbelts off of Honda-Tech. I dunno. It makes no sense to put the back all together just to have to take it all apart to get the seatbelts out.
