It looked purple in sunlight when it was very wet still. I let it dry for a bit, then it got dark. So I put it in a trash bag, took it home (dyed it at my parents house, not the apartment). I let it dry and it looked more black than before, but I still needed to hose it down so the extra dye would go away. Now it's purple again. Ugh, I dunno. I tried taking pictures and the flash just failed. Makes it look black like it's supposed to. I even tried to get a pic of the puddle of purple in the bathtub where it's drying. Still came out black looking.

But I swear, it's fabulously purple.

nonono, I dyed the thing in the kiddie pool at my parents house. I hosed it off there too. It dryed a little, then got put in my bathroom at the apartment so it could dry a little more. Yeah, it's dripping a little bit of purple... but the porcelain doesn't take the stain at all. So, its good. Besides, it's a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Any damage to the tub is my own.

I see what you mean about the purple but it's not really that bad IMO. Only a hint of purple.

I'm glad my interior is stripped right now. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known about the leaky door seal. The passenger rear door has been hit twice. It doesn't seal right at all. I got in the car this evening to go to work and found a puddle where the passenger seat would have been. This is not good. (also explains the odor every time it rains.) I don't even know how to begin to fix the seal. I mean, the door can't fit against the body anymore because the body is so bent on that side. The rubber seal that's on the replacement door is new OEM so I know it's a good seal. It just can't fit right.

Any ideas?
