(side tracked again... So, there's this guy about an hour from me selling a B16a2 engine, no tranny, no mounts. Engine only. 77k, has slight bottom end knock. Needs new bearings, pretty much. I lowballed $600 and he accepted. I could pick it up tomorrow if I decide to. But DANG, I really don't have the time or money to spend on rebuilding the engine I want! Nor do I have a place to store it! AUGH AUGH AUGH!)

rent a storage place, most of them are hella cheap now days, plus u dont even need a big one. Just get an engine stand and let it sit in there until you can afford to build it up. Also lowball him again and see if you can go lower. Gotta take advantage of deals when they come up lol

sleep with it beside your bed and rest your alarm clock on it as if it were your night stand. Then rebuild it later.

Honestly, as a seller I would be kinda pissed if someone offered me a price, I agreed, and then a day later he offered less.

Actually, that would be a pretty badass nightstand.

Well since I'm beyond sidetracked... I have a B16a2 engine only for $600, which is the engine I want, or a B18b1 COMPLETE SWAP for $800. I didn't want to go for the LS... but it's cheaper to me parts wise since it's ALL THERE. It has a slushbox tranny, but that'll get me going for awhile. And the best part is that it has like 20K miles on the engine. That's NOTHING. Oh.... decisions. I don't really NEED an engine right now...

I dyed the carpet today. I worked hard to keep the water hot, stir the stuff like you're supposed to, and I even mixed the dye stronger than I had to so it would DEFINATELY be black.

I'm now the proud owner of some mad JDM blac.. uh, purple carpet.

Yeah... it didn't go black. It went purple.

Fabulous.
