Since I have this "baller" purple carpet, think I should do what E. Jeezy did over at d-series.org and have this?

LMFAO... last time i was at the junk yard i found a crown royal bag and kept it.... figure id use it to hold bolts and such.

but interior looks good. now you just need to score a black steering wheel and air bag.

I ruined the joke on purpose... it wasn't the point of the post so I might as well get that out of the way. I was wondering if a Fit wheel fits.

I spent a lot of the day lotioning the leather seats in an attempt to recondition them. They're still in rough shape. I may still take them to a shop and see if they can be repaired first. Just a couple of rips, nothing big. I also dropped by Daniel's shop and snagged the Integra ebrake. Turns out the black handle and boot won't fit on the Civic ebrake due to a difference in shape. Damn it. I owe Daniel a 6 pack now.

Installed the ebrake handle and yay, it works. The black boot and handle will look good with the silver button. I'm not putting the last of the plastics on yet because I don't want to risk scratching stuff when I put the front seats in.

For all your part needs, Trust Destruction. Stu will come through for you.

Got a mirror switch, dimmer switch, cruise switch, sunroof switch, and ground strap in today from trustdestruction. Also hit up the junk yard (Baseline, jvp) and found nothing worth getting. They did however have TWO 1981 Civics. Shame to see them there.

I chopped off most of the pesky bracket that has plagued my back seat installation. Most. It didn't play nice at all. Broke two blades trying to cut it. Even had a firefighter tell me to spray the metal with soapy water while cutting to speed up the process. Well, it cut faster. My blades were just cheap. (Harbor Freight FTL). Oh, and speaking of lose, I found my missing dimmer switch. It was out by the street on the other side of the house where I haven't been in at least 6 months. Gee, wonder how it got there?

Found some dude on Craigslist parting out a 96 Civic, so I checked him out. Turned out to be a guy with some cars in his front yard. Redneck. lol. Snagged some junkyard special seatbelts in extra dirty condition.

Eventually, they'll become grey again. I was able to unreel ALL of the seatbelt so theoretically I could dye them. But I dont wanna go through all that mess again. No sir. So the fronts will be black and the backs will be grey. Don't care anymore. Just want my car back in 1 piece.

Here's what I finally ended up doing with that stupid seat bracket.

Hope that works. I took a bunch of pics of the front seats and center console reinstalled but they all turned out fuzzy because it's night. Blah. Anywho, also got the grey seat belts installed in the back. They came clean like NEW, totally mint. With any luck, I'll fabricate the locking mechanism tomorrow, get a hole cut into the rear deck lid and rear core support. Once the mechanism is in place, the seat can go in and BOOM, interior done.

Minus the steering wheel. Damn it.
