What do you guys think of this dude's kit for sale on HT? $600, has:

t25 turbo minimal shaft play
ic piping for EG custom with greddy flange (maybe I can modify for EK?)
all couplers and clamps
dsm 450 cc injectors flow tested and sonic cleaned
legit greddy type rs BOV akmost new
EF exhaust manifold (looks like an HF mani)
2 resistor boxes (why 2 though?)
all needed gaskets

I'm DEFINITELY swapping intakes. The y7 one is crap. There's a guy with a skunk2 IM for $150, but I think for my purposes a y8 is fine.

I might have just hit the mother lode on many of these parts. One of the local shop owners just posted in my thread on the local forum... *Fingers crossed on both hands*

[edit] In other news, I took the ricer ebay intake off and put the stock one back on. Stock y7! lol. It wasn't helping anyways

Thats a really nice little setup for $600, you might want to seriously consider that. Just two diff. styles of the resistor box, he probably didnt like one or the other. But anyways I would probably pick that kit up. Just need an intercooler and other small random stuff.

The local guy got back to me. He wants $400 for a Precision 350 intercooler, custom charge piping for an EK, and a 3 inch downpipe. They're already coated in black so it's pretty much made for what I want. But $400? Oi.

I'll have to look at it.

I talked to a knowledgeable guy on the local forum who has a shop around town and has boosted a lot of engines. He recommended that I use a greddy kit (a couple of people have said the same). He also recommended Crome for tuning since there aren't too many tuners around here and since it's a mild build.

Thats a good little deal.

You could also probably talk him down a little bit.
