Hobo's 2000 LX daily driver
o that frames fine! just look at it. you nose dived it! its all good. tho im sure insurance will total it, they to lazy to fix it since it looks so bad but they dont know its only cosmetic sheet metal damage. id still fix it and keep it for a cheap ride.
You wanted pics of how it sits now? ...still wrecked, lol. Not much change.
Stomped on the hood to make it sit flatter.

Core support without the bumper bar:

Core support pulled out a little so I could examine some components:

The only thing (as far as I know) that's keeping it from driving smoothly:

Ahh... stomping on the hood to make it flatter. I would have just taken aggression out on it and started jumping on it. lol I kicked the hatch's hood a bunch of times (it was already needing replacement of course) when the clutch started acting up preventing me from driving it and forcing me to sell it haha.
Looking forward to see what happens with insurance. Hopefully it is not totaled! If not, I have a spare D16 VC (unpainted) I would be able to sell you.

well im positive they will total it out. they dont care. to them it looks HORIBLE but to us its just sheetmetal and time to fix.
just slap a new cap on that thing and strap the hood down
dont let em take it!!!!!
ps that valve cover is no problem mine was chipped the same, it doesnt hurt anything as long as the oil seal is fine.

I'm hoping to get a final answer tomorrow, and depending on what they say... Well, lets just say that it could lead to great things. Very great things. Not over the top and ricey things, but very clean things. I have plans that could quite possibly put the car back to just how it was before 8 months of highway rock chips took their toll.

Buyback ended up being $800, a bit higher than expected. I don't recall the exact dollar amount because my dad's name is still on the title so he had to handle it, but it was around $5500. And, no part out. She's being towed to the shop tomorrow morning to be rebuilt one more time.
If the car is wrecked one more time after this, I'll go find a clean platform to start fresh from.
