on the valve lash: cant stress enough, be very careful when taking off and replacing the valve cover bolts, cause they break like toothpicks. then you have to drill them out and it is the most annoying thing you could ever imagine.

I think black headlight housing would look good with your oem headlights, its a pretty easy DIY all you need is a blow dryer, black spraypaint, and some waterproof sealant.

Im dissapointed to hear you are gonna sell, but at least you still have a few years to enjoy it. I am not a fan of the 7th gen Si though, it looks like a tiny little minivan.

I used a blow dryer to keep the silicone warm after taking them out of the oven. Using a blow dryer only will take a little while. If you get antsy and rush, you also risk cracking the lenses. Ask me how I know

Then do it 100% correct. I dont see any problems in that logic

Especially the brand new 2010 mazdas that are out now. They all look grinning idiots from the front.

+1... or just break your current lights, tell you parents that ones on ebay (black housings etc) are cheaper than brand new OEM (~$350 from the dealer I would guess). Win. lol

very true JUST DONT BREAK THEM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.... maybe just break the one, simple bat swing BUT BE CAREFULL not to hit the car, just hit the headlight lense right in the center... preferably toward the outter edge so you can say i dont know what happened i guess some truck backed into my car and just hit the headlight but dont destroy it completly... just break the outter lense so you can at least just slap some clear tape over it till the new headlights come in the mail so you wont be illegal and also wont blow your headlight bulbs
