I'm getting 22 mpg in my crv!!! I drive 60 miles a day when I'm in school and probably 15-20 miles of that is freeway. I think I kill the mpg since I drive it like its my civic. The b20 is so damn slow I find myself mashing the gas. With my civic I beat on it on a daily basis, more like a milely basis and still got high 20s low 30s.

Edit- just looked it up and crv 4wd is only rated for 19 city and 23 freeway. So I'm actually doing okay!

picked up an Alpine CDA-9884 on craigslist for 45 dollars. Installed in in place of the 6th gen civic cd player that i put in the first time which didnt play burnt cd's the best. This alpine will play toast, and it sounds amazing compared to my sony xplod. its even got a remote, and the button layout and sizes are perfect. when I get some spare cash, I will definately be upgrading to an alpine.

Also got the fluctuating idle problem fixed. I was a combination of a loose fitting pcv valve and a bolt on the iacv I stripped while trying to diagnose the problem. no more stalling and a smooth idle.

planning on getting a bug deflector soon to cover the rusted spot on the end og the hood. I cant find a hood this color anywhere within reasonable driving distance, and I have looked all over for an oem nose mask but they were discontinued. I wont to get the kind of deflector that attaches to the underside of the hood, not just a double sided tape one. I need to do some research on it.

well since my last post, the idle problem came back, and I have also fixed it for sure. the real problem was with the ICM or as honda calls it the Ignitor unit inside the distributor. starts and idles perfect in any weather now.

I found the perfect bug deflector after doing some research. It's by Perfect Fit brand for 109 shipped. It arrived and looks very nice, but the day it got here I found a new oem hood bra(which has been discontinued for some time) on ebay for 65 dollars. I ordered that and sent the deflector back minus the shipping and restocking fee.

I am very pleased with the look, however for an oem product the quality of seem stitching is not what i had expected. hopefully it lasts as well as it looks.

Also on the hunt for a yakima canoe rack and a set of front mud flaps.
