Default cracked exhaust manifold

Hey guys, i have a cracked exhaust manifold[&o]. i dont know too much about them and i have a few questions. If i have to replace it, is there any performance gain in getting a nicer one?(does it have any relevance to performance) Also, how much should i expect to pay?

Thanks for the help...

ok, one more question. On a 1996 ex, is the cat attached to the exhaust manifold. If i replace it do I have to get a cat? should i get a high flow cat?

the exhaust manifold can increase performace if you get a high performance exhaust manifold but idk if it increases it that much... it will be worth getting high performace if you are replacing them anyways...

the exhaust manifold connects to the cat its not one piece and a high flow cat might give you emission problems, but as long as it will pass emissions your good...

check out some of the sponsors to check on the specific price for your car.

PS - Headers is a shorter way to say exhaust manifold =)

keep in mind you'll also have to add some extra wiring for your rear o2 sensor
