i took my heat shield off the otherday on the top of the headers to realize that it was cracked. i don't think any exhaust is leaking from it, but i was wondering if it could be a problem. would it be worth replacing if it's not acting up? or is it just something waiting to happen?

if money is low you could always weld the crack up

 

Buy a used OEM one from craigslist or something or save up and get a nice aftermarket one if yours will last.

 

u can get a hedman chikara for cheap from summit racing!

 

well, it seems im on the market for a new manifold haha.
