hi all
i know there are tons of answers for my question but i cant take risk.
i found a megan racing headers on ebay for a decent price the question is how can i make sure if the header is an original not fake
and my second question is i do have honda civic 97 ex canadian edition or honda civic dx american edition 4 dr
how would i be able to install the header and the catalytic converter is there i dunno it might sound silly but here are a picture of the cat converter i have in my car and the megan headers

Megan is a knock off brand in itself so no self respecting company will make a knock off of a knock off. Get a 96-00 civic si(canadian SI) cat back exhaust and a high flow cat.

 

so u mean that i have to get rid of the converter i already have and throw it away then install the new high flow cat instead but where to install it after the header or after the second part (pipe) in the above picture..and i cant afford to buy a new cat back right now is that ok will the new parts fit the current stock exhaust i have.

without buying a aftermarket cat you will be doomed to fail emissions

 

yes the header will fit but you will not have a cat. i ran into this same problem until i did my exhaust. once you put on the header it bolts to the stock pipe but unless you have an aftermarket exhaust there is no room for a cat to even go due to the fact the cat comes off the second pipe.
