Default Removing rear window

How hard is it to remove the rear window? just as simple as removing the weather stripping? i need to fix my defroster grid and it would be easier with the window out...thanks

Pretty sure that you remove the weatherstripping, and under that are some clips. There should also be some sort of sealant where the glass rests.

ya IMO dont mess with it.. just try to fit the defrosters with it still on the car!
that or if you have insurance and dont mind using it.... then smash out your back window and have them replace it with a new rear window.

they have those little fix kits but if you have window tint on the back window well its gonna have to be removed so you can find the bad spots to fix them. but its still not going to be easy to fix them! i had a problem with my old 99 civic with the rear defroster wire terminal broke off the rear window glass itself which was VERY HARD to get a wire to solder onto it and i still verly got it on there. so even if your just unplugging the defroster terminal then be very carefull when unplugging those 2 terminals!
