87 civic si starts then dies
The diagram is a troubleshooting flowchart. The top part shows two different voltmeter tests to do on connector B of the ECU. The lower part shows what the problem may be depending on whether the voltmeter tests are good (o.k.) or bad (NOT).

hey ron i pulled the ECU out of my car and put it into my brothers can and gess what his car is now doing the same thing as mine so i know that it is MY ECU
any ideas on where i can get a good one

But got one more question i the Ecu i pulle out is #37820-PE7-6820
i called a import place and they said that i have the wrong one and that i need a PE1 modle
what can you tell me about this?

I found both PE1 and PE7 ECUs that seemed compatible with a 1987 CRX 1.5L fuel injected Si.
Therefore, in my opinion, you should purchase the PE7 ECU that matches the current one in your car.
