98 civic EX a little confused.
Ok so i went to a friend of the family's shop he pulled the codes there were three. Listen closely cause this is how you can fix the problems.
1- the First O2 sensor had a heating problem- heater element bad = replace
2- the second O2 sensor same thing.
3- ELD Output excessive= alternato putting out too much juice.
so that solves that problem and the surge in power can actually be cause by a bad speedometer head unit which on the civic is about 130K good thing i already thot of that one. so all in all the pricing comes down like this
O2 sensor in the header- $65 + tax
O2 sensor in the Cat- 215 + tax
Alt 139+tax
Speedo head unit- 140+ tax special order at most dealers.
thats how i get to fix my problem!
