UPDATE: I left her in the cold for a couple of days and when I went back to work on her, she worked fine. Then I kept her in the garage for about an hour and drove her out and took her for a drive, she started bucking again, but she would idle perfect. Someone said the Ignition Coil could have been bad because they work in the cold, then they die in the heat when they are bad, any ideas of what else it could be?

I havent received my Coil or Ignitor yet so I will have to wait probably till next week. But, I do have a coil tester and I am trying to get that test on the go this evening (Jan 24/07). I will post the results after the test.

Havent got a chance to test the coil, but, I did take the Distributor cap off and while trying to pry the rotor off, it cracked. So I decided to take the whole Distributor out of the engine and visually inspect for bad connections or coil and so forth. Everything looks good but there is a little play in the Distributor shaft. When I say little, I mean maybe the width of a ruler. I dont think thats normal is it?

UPDATE: Man oh fu**ing man. Here's my steps. Took distributor cap off (along with the internal cover), the rotor was off in the first place since I cracked the old one, installed the internal cover then the rotor then the distributer cap. Everything goes really good. I put the spark plug wires back in their spots when she was working a couple days before, then I went to crank the engine, she will crank all day but wont start at all now. What the hell is going on?

Most probably mixed the wires on distributor cap...

Yeah but I put the wires back on the same way they were on the old cap. Is it possible for me to have put the distributor back in the wrong spot? I mean when I had it apart, I marked where the rotor and shaft were supposed to be facing, but the chaulk I used wore away and then I was turning the shaft whatever way possible trying to get the distributor back together. Is it possible that I have the rotor in the wrong spot? Should I take the distributor off and rotate the shaft 180 degrees to see if I had the position of the shaft all screwed up then put the end of the shaft were its keyed back into its mating position?

I doubt you could rotate it 180 degrees - as far as I remember it fits only one way. Could be bad parts, too, btw...
