Post couple gauge questions

i have a FAZE water/oil temp and oil pressure gauges. i wanted to use the temp gauge as an oil temp, but someone i kno said the best reading is in the oil pan, which is a lot more work to mount it there. is that true? if it is, ill just use it as water temp. which brings me to another question, anyone know the thread size for the oil pressure sensor and water temp sensor? i want to get the T-pipes so i can still have the factory sensors installed, but i dont know what size to look for. also, where is the best place to hook up the lights so they only turn on with the headlights? any help is much appreciated!

I thought all the threads are NPT not BSPT. But I'm not positive about that.

If you are indeed dealing with BSPT, you can't just force NPT into it. It will strip the threads. You must use an adapter.
