Do i need to remove my transmission?!

do i have to remove my transmission to take my crankshaft out or can i do it with the transmission still connected to the block???

you should be planning to take the whole engine out for that.i know you probley dont want to,,,but that connects to the flywheel,etc...i think your gonna have to crack it open,...to break everything free,and realigned afterwords.but the tranny should stay in..if you want.
