can you lift a civic up a tad by loosing the springs?

no
springs hold up the car.
remove the springs and i can't imagine trying to drive the car that way. the car would be pretty much on the ground.

If you want to lift your civic up, you need to get higher springs

haha hell yeah thats something i would like to see... a raised civic with some truck tires sliding down some dirt road hahahahahahaha
