hole in gas tank?
My friend suspects that his car has a hole in his gas tank. whenever it's over half of a tank it leaks gas around the left rear tire. I suggest that he finds one off ebay but I dunno, are there any methods of fixing it? Would it be a good idea to run some fuel injector cleaner through it or would that make the leak worse?
They do make a puddy epoxy that will seal it up. I would say if you have the money, have the gas tank and filler neck changed out for a new one though.
Here is the first one i found on google. HERE
And before someone says it, no you cannot weld it back up without having the tank cleaned and flushed. Big time pain in the @$$!!!!!!!!!

cool the epoxy puddy looks like the right stuff, it's probably a temporary fix though but I'll definitely tell him about that.
What about using fuel injector cleaner? would it be a better idea to wait till the leak gets fixed first?
