Default Need some advice

I have a '92 Civic DX 5spd with 122k miles on it. It was a midwest car originally and has seen a lot of bad winters and been subjected to road salt and etc.

I have a terrible issue where it will stall when I slow for lights and stop signs, or at speed if I take it out of gear and cost. It fires up if I put it back in gear or turn the key (if I'm at a complete stop and have no momentum). Plus a horridly rough, uneven idle.

Plus it burns oil. I've had a lot of input on what that could be, none of it positive.

I just had the master and slave cylinders, and clutch replaced as well as the alternator (which was replaced at a Honda dealer with a really loud reman'd one, I am thinkin' of bitchin'. Thought I needed power steering fluid, then I realized it was the alt)

I don't have tools or room to work on it. Do I keep takin' it in and puttin' money into it, or cut my losses and find a new ride? I am certain labor charges would put me up another grand (which is what all the prior work cost.)

I am not a big car guy. I bought this thing 3 years ago when I had access to work space and tools to basically use as a learning car (with only 70k it seemed like a good deal for only 1,800$). But a lot of things have changed. I'm unsure what to do.

If anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate it

Since you cant do the work yourself, and the problems with the car seem to be pretty serious, I would say try to sell the car as-is. If the body is in pretty good shape you could easily get $1k out of it or more. I wouldnt pour any more money into this thing unless you can do the work yourself to save some labor charges. You could possibly save the shell and swap in another motor. Or if it body is pretty rough, just part it all out. I got about $700 from parting out my 93 EX and another $250 for the motor with a blown headgasket and other problems.
