OBDII to Laptop connection

Default OBDII to Laptop connection

I got a scan tool software for free... for which i need to connect my ODBII to my Laptop. My laptop is having only USB ports.. how do i go about it..
help please..

Look at AutoEnginuity i know that they sell a USB OBD II adapter, but i'm not sure if they sell just the wire. There software is pretty good also.

this is what i have found (quote):
