I think you can get a new cap and rotor for under $30. Just check Autozone or Oreily's.

mabie try a hose with it on mist... seems like a better idea.

i was searious....i dunno, this is what he told me to do and i did it too,nothing happend when i did it...but i told this to another guy and he sead he has heard of doing that toohummmmmm and its not a mechanic that would try to screw anything up...i dunno

well just to let yall know i was kinda dumbfounded when i finnaly figured it out i couldent hardly believe it i got to drive in some more rain yesterday heading over to my parents house to help install a home theater (about 60 miles) and the car still didnt run great in the rain even after putting the wires on it, so whall i was there i pulled it into the garage and took the aem cold air intake off and threw it in the trunk and put the k&n filter right on the throttle body and left the breather open for the time bein which i will now get a little finter to cover. but anyway that seems like it was the problem i guess sucking in just to much water was me last thought but that must of been what it was just enough water to flud out a cyl or 2. so thanks god that problem is done.

wow..i think thats the first time iv heard a cai cause problems with water on this forum, im planning to buy the extention to make mine cold air but post like these give me a second thought, its good you got the problem fixed tho..never would of thought of that
