Well, I bought my new fuel filter from Napa today and put it in. When I started it up it ran the same for a few seconds and then it ran perfect again! I checked the o2 readings and they are all back to normal! The old filter rattled. Must have fell apart on the inside. Not bad for a $20 fix! Thanks for the help guys!

That's it... I'm changing my fuel filter first thing in the morning.

Yeah! I was surprised. I never even suspected it myself. It only took 10 minutes the change it too!

I'm glad you got it straightened out. Most of the time car problems are simple like this, especially with a honda. Just do the regular maintenance and it will run for ever,... well almost. I think most of us abuse our cars a little more than the average drivers,... lol. Anyway, thanks for the update.

Oh by the way, that little lag was your ECU readjusting the fuel trims for your idle setting. It will probably feel a little sluggish at times, while it relearns all the proper fuel trims for various RPMs and engine loads. You might also smell a rich mixture burn from time to time. It should go completely normal after a few hundred miles of driving.

hmmm, my wifes Corolla is throwing that code, and its running worse and worse. i might need to take a look at the fuel filter. but it has some throttle issues too, so i think its a sensor. i need to break down and actually take some time to test it.[&:]
