The downpipes on ebay are probably fine if you can reweld the flange to your liking. Fitment is really the only issue but I think it would be much cheaper for you to order some bends from http://store.racing-solutions.org/ if you can weld. That way you can make sure the fitment is good and its not going to drag or anything like that and it wont cost you anywhere near $100 even with buying flanges.

Yeah, I don't have welding equipment and never welded before [&:]. I might be able to find somebody to do it tho.

Place that i've been going to find stuff is hondaswap.com as well as turbod16. Got my turbo setup from hondaswap might be getting some injectors their too. I'll check out homemadeturbo, never went there before.

Theres some pretty decent looking 2.5" stainless downpipes on ebay for $70 shipped. Thats probably your best bet. You'll probably just have to cut and reweld the flange to your liking.

Those are the 510's right? You'll have some decent growing room with those.

Alright decided i'm going to rebuild the turbo myself. Shouldn't be hard as long as I mark everything and put it back the same way. my next step.

going to paint my rims this week if we finally stop getting storms [:@]

Oh btw, had a stage 2 tornado couple days ago here in my town!!! Not even a mile from me is where it touched down. This is up here in New England. so very bizarre.... traveled 40 miles, killed a person and destroyed many homes.

To the best of my knowledge there are two types of rebuild kits for straight t3's. One minor and one major/master. someone told me on another forum that the only way to tell is by taking it apart which kit to buy. Is this true?

kind of stuck right now with the tuning program. Everyone says don't use greddy emanage, but I can't revert back to obd1 in my state (legally). I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a tune so AEM EMS is out of the question.

Once I get some things figured out I'll update more. Like where i'm going to get my downpipe made, which tuning program, get my turbo rebuilt. I realize this is prolly getting very boring with the little progress so far.

Thought things would progress more quickly but my girlfriend came down on me about spending more money on my car than her, blah blah excuses I know. So I'll post more pics and update once the ball gets rolling.
