CorSport Rear Upper Strut Bar
Product:CorSport Rear Upper Strut Bar
Distributor: http://www.corsportusa.com/
Vehicle:2005 Civic EX SE
Cost:$45.00 w/ free shipping
Installation: Very easy, pull back the trunk carpet liner in the rear back corners of the trunk and remove the two nuts on top of each strut.
Installation Time:20-30mins w/ pauses to drink a couple beers.
Review:I don't really see all that much difference on my 05 Civic with this installed or not, I think mainly because I already have the lower Progress Sway and Tie Bar combo installed which I think is a much more effective way of tightening up your rear struts than the upper bar. However one would reason if the struts are under enough stress in tight corners to flex at the bottom then they will in turn flex at the top as well. I just don't think I am able to push the car hard enough at this point to really feel the difference. One negative to it is that the bar runs about 1/2" above the floor of the trunk so you can no longer push items all the way to the back of the trunk now as they will butt up against the bar now instead of the back of the seat unless you rest them on top of the bar.

RE: CorSport Rear Upper Strut Bar
the reason you don't notice as much of a difference is because they are totally different things. Sway bars limit swaying, while tie bars are meant to add rigidity to the frame. Sway bars will ALWAYS be more noticible than tie bars of any type.
