what manual trans fluid to use?
ORIGINAL: Kedawei
From everything I've read the Honda fluid breaks down pretty quick, about 10k-15k miles. I used synthetic 5W-30 for a change, but decided that was too expensive. Regular 10W-30 is what I would reccomend.

The "PROPERTIES" i'm talking about is the fact that it had the same color, texture, viscosity, etc. as the new fluid i poured right back in, so before you get mad, it's just a fact that your tranny fluid won't get "dirty" (unless you grind a lot of gears) because there's no combustion so no carbon and minimal breakdown, it's common sense, not rocket science, sorry if i triggered you but i'm just sharing what i know and see
you know ive not been very impressed over all with the royal purple brand....i have not used it as tranny fluid but there are at least 3 other motor oils i prefer to royal purple...it took me a long time to actually try it and i wasnt impressed at all...maybe it would be a better as a tranny fluid tho
