I dont mod my civic to mke it as fast, or faster then v8's.
Since I was young I always loved the shape of the civic coupe.
Although im not fond of the hatchback or the later coupe models to be honest, I love the 91-95 shape and thats it.
Its was always my dream car and I dont care how fast it goes..
My friends drive 2.2 vtec preludes and 140 mph 200sx but I dont care that they are faster.
Standing back and looking at all three, i always feel like the winner.

 

i am the same way i never really rev my motor or anything. i don't really run my car hard unless i have too. you know when i guy wants to race when you take off a little quicker than normal and he is going hard to keep up with you so you can't let him think he had a chance then i will down shift or at the light knock his socks off

Personally, I would rather have a mustang, corvette, porche, or ferrari (don't hate me). However, my mom got me a civic so I want to mod it.

Although I don't mod for performance. I just want it to look cool (and by cool, I mean like something that I like).

no methinks most people mod their cars cause they love their car, and/or love driving so they make the best of it... however that may be

 

i jsut turned 16 and the point of modding my slow as hell 97 lx is to make it my own, to have something that i can say i put work into to make it faster that it was before, and as for those v8 monkeys who hate civic owners, they dont know what having a civic is like so they hate on us
