I want to paint this super fresh valve cover. I know that I need high temperature paint... but can I do this?

High temp primer
REGULAR paint
High temp clear

Will the high temp primer/clear sandwich protect the normal temp paint?

 

I know a guy who specializes in painting VC's I'll ask him tonight and I'll let you know! He's color matching mine to match my rims =]

 

you dont have to use high temp paint on the valve cover at all, here is my hatch i painted with reg dupli color paint,



and i painted my integra motor with reg dupli color paint,

 

Yea thats what my friend said, he uses regular car paint and it holds up fine.
