Danomatic's Update Thread: Modifying the EJ1
LoL, I got them from Target 4 years ago. I masked off the fake 'chrome' lugs and rattle can blasted them white! Sadly, I get asked if they are 'rims' all the time, even with the monster cracks and missing sections. (just look at the passenger's side rear hubcap)
Thankfully, it retracts so that you can't when it's not in use.

danomatic93, hey man, I just want to say that I love your car and the mods you do because whether or not other people like them you still get them. I really respect you for this. And I love your car I love seeing the progress.
Thanks guys. I love playing with my car and it helps that you guys are so supportive! lol, I thought I would get do many hating on the pole but I guess I underestimated where HCF is right now. I really really can't wait until it's warmer!!! I want to put all these darn parts on!!!
Since it was sooo beautiful out today I got some ambition to work on it some more.
Here's what I got done:
-the front lip back on
-'installed' the RSX windshield nozzles easiest mod I've ever done!
-PWJDM bolts and dress up washers. Since 4 bolts snapped I had to drill out the stump with a 5mm drill bit and re-tap the hole with a M6x1.00. Also, a long while back I drilled out the 5 top bumper holes and replaced them with fat drywall screws since. Now, I'm fixing them properly with some helicoils. But tha'll have to wait for tomorrow.
So, tomorrow I hope to get the bumper screws done and maybe start on the bumper pole.
