Scott's Ek Build: Shaved and Tucked
I think I'm just going to order some Blox lca's then, solve all my problems. What is $100 anyway... this way I can burn the bushings out rpetty much and not have to worry, and they are shiney! What hardware does the Blox kit come with?
No hardware unless it is mentioned in the sale ad.
+1 for getting LCAs and being prepared.
It will still be a b!tch to get the bolts out (if they seize), but you would not have to worry about down time if you get the LCAs and new bolts.

Holy **** bolts from Hondapartsdeals.com and sites like that are expensive, that's ridiculous. For all the hardware (aka the 6 m10x80 bolts for bolting the rear LCAs in would run me $36). Would bolts from a hardware store be suffice?
Alright, I went to the hardware store and looked at bolts. They have 12.9 grade bolt that is m10x70, and then the next size up is m10x1.25. This is what the bolt looks like, will it be good enough? Or should I order oem.
I just put in some new blox LCA's this weekend. I used m10x80 bolts from the hardware store, 8.8 grade. I think 10x70 may be a little short. However I was curious myself so I just went and took some pictures haha. Here's what 10x80 looks like-

So I dunno, its your call. Just make sure the thread pitch is 1.25 mm. I ordered my bolts from McMaster Carr. 10 bolts for 7 bucks.
Also, I only broke one bolt on my old LCA's, which endured 13 chicago winters. My suggestion to make it as easy as possibly is spray the crap out of it with PB blaster and hit the nuts with some sort of torch. Worked like a charm for me.

Ah sweet ****, and the bolts you used had the unthreaded gap?
Found a site, $13 shipped for the 6 bolts. I think I'm just going to do that, they aren't zinc plated though. And all the bolts thread in to welded on nuts right? I know the shock has the weldde nut, but what about subframe/hub? I just want to make sure I have everything ready and don't need to go get any nuts or anything.
