Default ObdII for Smog

Evaporative System and Oxygen Sensor not ready.

Can't pass Smog.

I disconnected the battery since the CEL was on.
The CEL light is not on anymore since I fixed the problem.

I've been driving it for more than 300 miles now but still
the Evap system and oxygen sensor is not ready.

Any help will be appreciated.

Not sure what you're saying. Your CEL is on now?

If the not ready code doesn't go away like it should after driving a while with the CEL off, the ECU may not have backup power. Check the fuse under the hood.

Disconnection of the battery or a removed or blown 7.5A Back Up hood fuse could cause a Not Ready problem.

No the CEL is not on right now. It was on before since I had a problem but its now fixed and had to disconnect the battery to take away the CEL.

So you failed the smog test due to a "not ready" code, but their scan did not find any other codes. Again, this is probably the backup fuse. Without it, your ECU will reset every time you turn the key off, so there will always be a not ready code.
