Yeah it's an automatic transmission, didn't mention that sorry.


Yeah the mechanic said to bring it in anytime and he would degrease it and then have us drive it around for 30 mins or so, then come back and he would pinpoint the leak. I suppose I could do that myself though. And yeah, the brakes and rotors will be cheap so at least that's cool, and I could do them myself too if I really want. CV boot should be replaced As Soon As Possible, I know, to avoid having to replace the whole shaft.


Thanks for tip about running the car in one spot in order to see evidence of the leak, I didn't think about that.
