My ac plugs are just hanging and I had no problems. Put the fan wired straight to the battery and make sure the fan itself works

Yea, I am going to try that tonight when I get home I think. I will also check out the fan relay to see if that could be the problem. If nothing shows to be the problem, looks like I will be pulling out the multi meter. I hate electrical issues.

Well, relay is not the problem. Put the fan directly on the battery and it kicks on with force. I ended up wiring it to a switch for the time being. I should have more time to look into it when it gets warmer.

Since I had the fender and all that off on the passenger side, I started looking into the reason why my sidemarker was no longer working. All wiring looked fine, and ended up pulling the piece holding the light in place apart. Sure enough, something got in there, cause a **** ton of corrosion and broke off one of the wires. Replaced it and everything is working again.

Lastly, while I was getting a wire inside for the fan switch, I pretty much figured out how I will run my power fold mirror wiring. Hoping for good weather next weekend so I can get them wired up!

EDIT - Also, I plan on ordering a short shifter for the h22 today, too!

I've seen the ebay short shifter attachments for the prelude shifter I have.
Is there an after market company doing a complete shifter?

I like the Kswap shifter but it does not list the M2B4 as a compatible transmission.

Link to eBay short shifter you are talking about? I assume you have the metal plate shifter set-up from the 4th gen Prelude?

I bought a JTC short shifter. Here is a pic I found:

The one in red is the short shifter, other is OEM. What this does is re-positions the cable to the higher bolt holes, making the throw much shorter. They make one for the 5th gen prelude shifter box, too but it looks a little different. Same concept I believe though.

Here is a link, It is just an adapter.
I'll have to take a look at my shifter assembly this weekend to see where exactly it would bolt on.

^^ I have seen that adaptor, but I never did any research on it. All the searches for short shifter info on Prelude forums etc came up with either Pspec ($$$) or the JTC, not once did I find anyone mentioning the adaptor.

OK, so I am getting my flame suit on right now as I type this :/......

Here's the thing, I will NEVER have $2-3K sitting around for body and paint work, and I am completely sick of the way my car looks right now. Also, I am not that good at spray painting. If I ever get that kind of money laying around, it'll get tossed into a bank account to save for a house down payment.

So knowing that the body isn't going to get fixed, and the paint is never going to be put back to what it should be, and knowing that I will have this car for at least the next 5 years, what is everyone's thoughts on a complete sticker bombed car? I would be going with only black and white stickers instead of all those rainbow colors etc.

BLACK & WHITE JDM STICKER BOMBING SHEET 500 x 500mm stickerbomb euro | eBay

Try to imagine something like that all over the car. Thoughts?

Positive/negative, I don't really care what you think, just gauging feel for it. I am sure it could be considered "rice", but maybe if it is done decently, it could look fine?

**Flame suit on and zipped up 100% now.

hahaha, but laughing aside, i think that those stickers COULD look okay but no matter what its gonna look pretty rice and probably a good way to get pulled over. if anything I would consider one that is heavier on one color and not so cluttered? just a personal opinion. So maybe black with white designs scattered instead of everywhere.

Word to the painting being expensive, i got a guy out here that will fix all my dents and do a great paint job for $1.5k and even that i am not considering due to cost. I do not care too much about my body, as in the little dents and scraps, every time i park someone makes a new ding anyway, LA sucks.

Is there a Maco around?

We have them around here.
You do any prep you want done, they will tape off windows and ect..

Then they shoot it.
I think the pricing is around 100.00 plus paint.

They don't wet sand, buff or anything like that so it is a straight shoot and go.

They are no where near a great looking paint job but it would be one color, lol.

On a side note, I pulled the trigger and went with the Billit Avid mounts since the steel ones in the car was Avid.
The old drivers side mount was TOAST, bent and twisted something fierce!
The top timing belt cover was wearing a groove in the drivers side strut mount.

I took advantage of todays great weather (64, sunny and a little breezy) to get some work done on the car.
I still need to get the rear mount changed but I got the other two in there.
Dialed!!!!
The bushings are 72A rated and the car is incredibly smooth compared to before the change.

Needs to be a quality vinyl sticker to survive, my lip didn't last the longest with the cheap stickers. But consider vinyl wrapping the whole car a color, sign making companies usually can do the wrap.
