Cvcrcr's project/fix-up thread (version 1.1)
This is what I attempted to install last night. Well, to be perfectly honest, I knew I wasn't going to be able to get the rear done since I didn't have much time last night, so I planned on only doing the Pass and driver side.

The company is called Drop Engineering. Anyways... The mounts shifted the motor about 1mm to the driver side, causing my alternator pulley to start rubbing/grinding on the frame rail. This has nothing to with the mounts, as they fit fine and posed no problems. Driver side fit extremely well, passenger side fit just as good. I cannot imagine the rear mount giving me any troubles. I'll post up a review in the appropriate section once everything is done. Damn supercharger and idler pulley bracket LOL.
While under the car, my budy and I noticed that one of the bolts holding the alt. to the idler pulley bracket fell off somehow. A replacement is on it's way. This could also be causing my engine fitment issues when I install the mounts.
And yes... I am taking a **** load of pictures, so I can get a DIY guide done for the forum. So much going on right now with the car, I barely have time for anything else once I put my son to bed for the night!

The guy that put my new trans in said that if all the mounts and brackets aren't the same brand the motor can sit funny or be at a bind. I had Hasport trans and drivers mounts and an Avid rear mount. He changed it and it was a very noticeable difference.
Replaced the alternator bolt....exciting.
Pic of the black Mishi radiator (it is now installed 100% of course):

Mounts are in!

Driver's side:

Pass/Trans. side:

Rear (I know... whoopy dee-doo, but this one deserves a picture.. it was kind of a b!tch to get tools back there to loosen/tighten the bolts):

The radiator/fan combo works great! No overheats even after sitting in one spot, idling for over 1 1/2 hours.
The mounts are not as bad as people would assume. They are 75A. Yes, you can feel more vibrations when starting off in 1st/2nd (whichever the situation calls for of course), but sitting at idle, there's only a slight difference. My torque mounts were filled solid with polyurethane a few months ago, and those are what transfers vibrations most.
Shifting is a lot easier/precise, the motor responds quicker (due to less movement) when I slam on the gas, and they look pretty IMO
Link to the set of mounts I bought in case anyone wanted to see them
I will have to snap a picture or two of the slim fan, but a buddy and I are going to start working on his mom's Jetta (VW...yay!!!../sarcasm... LOL), so no more pics tonight.

Finally got around to re-wiring the meth kit. As far as I know, it works. Wired it up, primed the system, key in the ignition, and blew into the back of the boost sensor. Sure enough, the activation light and the pump turned on!
I have yet to road test it/tune it, so it will remain unhooked until when I get some time tomorrow afternoon.
Took apart the headlights (....again), stripped the passenger side paint, and repainted it this bronze metallic color. Eh, it is a little too light of a brown for my taste, so I am not sure if I will go ahead and paint the other one just yet. I'll post a pic tomorrow.
HCF stickers should be on the way soon!

Ah yay got that meth kit all figured out and stuff nice work and how many times is this now that uve taken apart the headlights to repaint em? lol shouldve just painted them black ;P jk jk i LOVE the bronze idea haha if it will ever work right and match each other lol good luck with em all man!
Had black housings before (see avatar), but that was a while ago, the tabs were broken and the headlights just looked like cr4p anyways.
The drivers side has been taken apart once and painted. The passenger side, three times. lol I am still not 100% sure if I want to do the bronze since a white car may not be in my future, so I am trying to think of a different color that won't look too bad instead of the normal gunmetal/black.

The mounts come from Drop green. However, you can buy any color you want from there and pop them in. I think they are releasing a 60A insert since 75A is too stiff for some I guess.
Paint will probably end up OEM silver.. with a little extra metallic in it if anything. It all comes down to money....unfortunately
Lastly, road tested the meth kit to make sure it is working right. Connected the wires, mashed on the gas real quick, and the light came on, as well as my A/F ratio shooting to 10.0 (cannot hear the pump turning on over the road noise/exhaust/etc LOL).... It works!!!!! Yay! Tuning it in today.
