^ I definitely see what you are saying. I wish there was a way to find out the filtering size of the OEM filter since I would like as close to that as possible. Right now, it is either 40 micron, or 10 micron for inline filters. I really can seem to find anything other than those two (unless it is a pre pump filter like 80-100 microns).

If anyone has any insight, post up! This will be the first thing to attack once my wiring non-sense is dealt with.

I attempted to de-pin the ECU connector last night. Ended up stabbing myself multiple times with a flat head screwdriver and breaking the connector. So it was a complete failure. lol

I ended up breaking a wire which was being held on by a strand. Of course, it broke about 3 mm from the ecu connector. I was barely able to strip off enough wire and reconnect the wires. Looks terrible, but my CEL issues are not coming up anymore If everything continues to work fine, it looks like the wiring near the ecu connectors are to blame. Should I still splurge and buy the rywire harness?

You shouldn't even ask such a question, of course you should still get a rywire harness! haha I plan on getting one as well, or a chasebays harness. Whichever I find a better price on.

After researching the companies more and more, rywire just seemed to have better reviews. I priced a chase bays harness and a rywire and they were basically the same.

Well, I am back to having a constant CEL again. The car hiccuped on the way home from work and the CEL came back on. I barely got it started again at the local WaWa after stopping there for cigs. Ugh. Yes, I am buying the damn harness. I really hope that is where all my problems are lying. 24 hours of having the car running properly was awesome. I want more h22 vtak!

Broke down (me... not the car ) and finally bought the Rywire harness for the H22. Total cost is $705.00. Luckily, I got a new credit card which is giving me $200 back after spending $500. Haven't had a CC since like 2 years ago when I was trying to do my turbo build which ended early due to a job loss and bills piling up. After the nice incentive from this CC, I technically only paid $505. Sweet!

Can't wait until it get here and get rid of the harness I have now!!!! Soooo excited!!!!11!!11!!!

EDIT - With the exception to paint/body work ($2k at least) and a *possible* LSD transmission in the future (~$750-$800 I would guess), this harness is/was the most expensive thing left to buy for my build! Everything else is "small". But you how it goes, the small things add up... fast.

My car hates me. After spending that absurd amount of money on a harness, my clutch loses all pedal pressure. Look in the reservoir, no fluid at all. Now I need to find where it is leaking from.

Replaced the slave cylinder last night. Froze my fingers off, but got it done. Car is up and running again.

Forgot to mention that I swapped out the driver side axle over the weekend in addition to an oil change and mounting a catch can to test for work.

Picked up a little black breather filter, and a replacement fuel pressure gauge the other day since the one I have is dead for some reason.
