Hobo's 2000 LX daily driver
There was still water in my dizzy. Dizzy is dry now, everything works. There was water in my engine but not enough to hydrolock. Water is gone. Tires are properly inflated, oil is changed, and I now have a full spare set of shocks (traded some headlights awhile ago). It was fun to see the car up on a lift. I always like to inspect stuff for myself. It appears that I have a minor oil leak at my crank seal.
(I got to see the redneck method of pulling springs off a shock without compressors. Just FYI, Honda springs will throw a shock about 30 feet when you just pull the nut off.)
I got my stock intake back from the attic and its almost ready to reinstall. I'm sick of my SRI. It's a completely useless add-on. Its just for show. There's no point to it unless I do exhaust, a nice port and polish, and get a port matched header with the rest of the exhaust. Besides, all of my couplers are beginning to disintegrate from the heat.

I do it like that but I do it while it's still on the car so that nothing goes flying anywhere
Then to reinstall you set the new spring on the shock and then use a jack to jack up the LCA so that the spring compresses... then tighten the nut from the inside of the trunk.

She started right up despite the worn out battery and the cold. But I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Too much ice, too many hills. Got a police escort to work. (Perk of working for the police.)
...
(but they made me ride in the back.)

^Thanks.
Here's my fix for the lip: an aluminum scrap and copious amounts of epoxy. Great cell phone pic, I know.

It's a bit cool for effective painting but I went ahead and did an awful job of repainting with the little paint I have left from this whole project. It's far from perfect but from a distance it gets the idea across.

At this point I just want the thing back on the car instead of hanging from the wall in my room. Paint is a luxury. And wow, I just noticed you can't see the coat hangers in the pic. It's not nailed to the post or anything...

Oh man it looks tacky as hell. Ooooohh man, its great.

Restored!

While I was fixing that, I found some bad news. I need a new tire on the passenger front.

That's not really safe. Ugh.
