Cut, cut, do'h, cut, file. (cutting wheel exploded at 6000 RPMs. Missed everything but the fender.)

I was the victim of cheap tools. Wore out or destroyed 4 out of 5 cutting discs. Not sure if I want to use the saw attachments now or just go get a metal nibbler to do the other side.

I hate when the cutting discs blow up! Are you using the thicker wheels? I went through about 2 of them on each side. Before that, I used the thinner ones since that is all I had and broke about 2 each minute.

Those were the thicker ones, yes. I forgot I had the thinner ones! I could have finished the job today.

Do you think I would kill the fender if I used the saw blade attachment?

Meh, went out and bought better cutting wheels. Bought 6, needed 1. Nice to have quality tools.

Same as yesterday.

Applied the template...

Seriously, I don't care about the JDM aspect. Since I converted to LED turn signals, they aren't as bright during the day. I need more light, so LEDs on the sides seem logical. These look stock enough. Better than ricer mirrors with turn signal LEDs on them.

I love the look of sidemarkers. When I put mine on it made such a big asthetic difference in my opinion, defintely one of my favorite things! Which way did you wire them in, just go in sync with your blinkers? Mine are on any time the headlights are on and alternate from the blinkers.

Wires. Yeah... about that... (not done yet. Haven't bought the LEDs.) I think I will do mine so that they're on with the parking lights and do the alternating blink.

I agree, Side markers IMO give it a nice touch. I've always liked them.
Just curious.. Where you using a dremel tool? or the disc that you can throw on a drill.
Came out good!

Yes, using a dremel.

Night pictures. My phone can't do it justice. Three of those bulbs in one interior = BRIGHT AS DAY. I angled the dome light towards the back and angled the map lights straight down. Even light spread. (Excuse the junk in the car, you get the idea.)
